Acer hat das erste Netbook mit Intel Atom N450 Prozessor und Nvidia Zusatzgrafikchip inzwischen offiziell angekündigt. Der Acer Aspire One 532g ist das erste Gerät bei dem einer der neuen Intel Atom Pineview Prozessoren mit integrierter GMA3150-Grafiklösung in Kombination mit dem als ION 2 bezeichneten Grafikprozessor GeForce G218 verbaut wird. Da das System vom Nutzer unbemerkt zwischen beiden Grafikeinheiten umschalten kann, soll stets genügend Leistung für die jeweiligen Anwendungen zur Verfügung stehen.
