Das HTC Flyer ist da! Die Spatzen pfiffen es bereits seit geraumer Zeit von den Daechern der diversen Techblogs und IT-Magazine, heute machte der Taiwanesische Smartphone Hersteller dann endlich Naegel mit Koepfen und stellte sein 7-inch Tablet mit 1,5Ghz Singlecore CPU (duerfte wohl ein Qualcomm Snapdragon sein)vor. 1GB RAM, 32GB Flashspeicher und eine Aufloesung von 1024×600, wobei es sich um ein druckempfindliches, kapazitives Multitouchdisplay handelt. Wie schaut es mit dem Betriebssystem aus? Hier steuert HTC aber mal ganz heftig gegen den Honeycomb Trend und setzt auf die Android 2.4 Version mit einer angepassten HTC Sense UI. Der ganze Spass ist in einem schicken Aluminium-Gehaeuse untergebracht und soll im 2. Quartal versandbereit sein.
Rein softwaretechnisch bzw. eher vom Content her, faehrt HTC mit HTC Watch und OnLive Cloudgaming durchaus interessante Services auf und das ist bei Tablets auch bitter noetig, wie nicht zuletzt das iPad beweist.
