Samsung N120 – Riesen-Tastatur und 10,5 Stunden Laufzeit

Neben den beiden 10-Zoll-Netbooks N310 und N110 hat Samsung ein weiteres neues Modell namens N120 vorgestellt, das sich vor allem durch eine besonders große Tastatur auszeichnen soll. Die Koreaner geben an, dass sich in dem auf 10-Zoll-Maßstab getrimmten Gehäuse eine Tastatur befindet, die von ihrer Größe der eines 12-Zoll-Notebooks entsprechen soll. Der 6-Zellen-Akku soll zudem eine Laufzeit von bis zu 10,5 Stunden ermöglichen.

Die Plattform des N120 bildet erneut Intels Atom CPU mit dazugehörigem Chipsatz. Noch ist allerdings unklar, um welches Modell es sich bei dem Prozessor handelt. Die weitere Ausstattung des Samsung N120 entspricht weitestgehend dem gestern präsentierten N110, dem Nachfolger des beliebten Samsung NC10. Der Hersteller will das neue Modell offenbar als Premium-Variante des N110 positionieren, denn zusätzlich zu 1,3-Megapixel-Webcam, 3-in-1-Kartenleser, 3x USB 2.0 und optionalem Bluetooth gibt es beim N120 außer der größeren Tastatur auch noch zwei 1,5-Watt-Lautsprecher und einen Subwoofer.

Samsung nennt bisher zwar keinen Preis, gibt aber an, dass das N120 ab April in Europa, den USA und Asien zu haben sein soll.
