Computex Video: Manli Netbook M3 und Pressemitteilung

Es hat zwar etwas gedauert, bis ich herausgefunden hatte auf welcher Hardwareplattform das Manli M3 Netbook, welches im üblichen 10.2 Zoll Format gebaut wird, basiert, aber die nun nach dem Video zu findende Pressemitteilung gibt darüber Aufschluss, daß es sich -trotzdem Manli hauptsächlich als Grafikkarten-Hersteller bekannt ist- um ein Standard Atom N270/GSE945 Netbook handelt.

Lars hat auf jedenFall noch ein nettes Video von den Systemen auf der Computex  gemacht, das einerseits ein vielversprechendes Gerät  zeigt, andererseits aber auch arg nach Plastik riecht.

Vorteil solcher -ich nenn es mal Leichtbauten- ist die mögliche Varianz in punkto Deckelfarben und auch das geringe Gewicht. So bringt der Manli wohl grad mal ein Kilo auf die Waage, obwohl er mit Expresscard Slot und Fingerprint-Reader zwei zusätzliche Features bietet.

Zumindest als Option verspricht die Firma für den M3 auch ein UMTS Modem, ein GPS Modul und TV Empfang, was den Basispreis von knapp über 300€ wohl entsprechend heben dürfte. Vor dem Video möchte ich noch eine kleine Anmerkung loswerden: findet ihr nicht, daß das Manli-Logo aussieht, wie das von Logitech nur ohne Farbe und einmal nach links gedreht?
